    If I was cynical I might dismiss these
    paintings as self-indulgent explorations
    in paint, but they appear to be well
    thought out.

    Abstraction can be tricky that way.

    i agree, pete. i'm usually not a fan of splashed paint, but these have a different feel to them-and i really love the color. thanks for commenting.
