sunday church drawing

this next series of drawings are not church drawings, but showing the series will buy me some time until i can scan in my new church drawings: ) this series is called "flesh" and was done about 3-4 years ago when i was really getting into response drawings (drawings done in response to a mark or stain on the paper). i would first loosely apply gouache or watercolor to tracing paper, let it dry and then respond to the marks with colored pencil drawings which reference the body and other organic forms.
