  1. I sometimes do not understand a thing...How does such artworks received from 'archiving' point of view? ( clothing, ribbon, yarn, wool sweater, jump rope, mixed media...)

    they look cool for sure, but...:(

  2. i understand your question and it is a legitimate one in the art world. but sometimes artists just need to make art with the materials at hand or that inspire and without considering such things as archival qualities. if these works were to end up in a prominent collection, i'm a method would be found to keep them looking great as long as possible. thanks for your comment!

  3. These are pretty wonderful. Great find. As far as archivalness. I think you are right Lorraine. Sometimes, you just gotta do it with the materials that speak to you. That is someone else's job to preserve it in the future. I think of it as providing jobs for someone in the future. HA! I am so glad that I discovered your blog.
