    thanks for commenting, india. i would consider them drawings and according to the drawing research network 'any mark on a surface made by a human to be interpreted by another human' is a drawing. check out their site...www.drawing-research-network.org.uk/

    Lovely, rich examples of Tracey's work. I have followed her work for several years and as an artist interested in mark-making/drawing and printing as well as painting, I enjoy her incorporation of the processes that still maintain a freshness and spontaneity.
