systems thinking seeks to understand life, or solve problems by looking at the whole of interacting parts. often, like a fractal, these parts are complex within themselves and form their own unit that is then part of a larger unit. insight can be gained through analysis by dissection but perhaps a deeper level of understanding can be reached by analyzing the connections and relationships of the parts-like understanding a text by 'reading between the lines'. i believe if the systems thinking approach were applied to more aspects of our society many problems could be more effectively solved.great patterns and materials...see more here.
