beautiful installations, almost other worldly, especially the one with the globes. i've always thought if i were to be an installation artist, i'd be compelled to do work with light.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely (and I'm guessing you have the artist's permission to repost them here? :D)
ReplyDeletethank you, stephanie, for your always well written and complementary comments.
ReplyDeleteto approachable art: this blog is a way to share artists whose work inspires me with other creative people who may also be inspired by the work. i post work everyday with little time to ask permission of every artist. if i did that, this blog (as i'm sure many others like it) would cease to exist. i always post a link to the artist's site as well as a link to the blog or site where i've found the image. sharing links always broadens the audience of the artist's work and everyone wins. if an artist should object to my posting their work, (which hasn't happened in a whole year's worth of posting), i include a disclaimer on the right sidebar of the blog which states that i will remove the post immediately. thank you for your comment.
ReplyDeleteI always find the most inspiring things here! Thanks so much for sharing all of this.
ReplyDeleteyou're so welcome! thanks for your comment!
ReplyDeleteI love this work - thank you for sharing the links! I'm sure the artists really appreciate the publicity - I wouldn't second guess sharing their photos on your website as long as they are credited.
